Does it stand for father and mother scholarship?... But got pro and con la I think.. If managed to get scholarship with bond, then will have a guarantee job upon graduation . But of course must find a good sector or company la ....
My dh also think likewise as u... But need to save more money if intend to let him study oversea uni  -

u mean u have a dd in NYGH ? thought you dd in DHS ? sorry i very kaypoh
it's ok......i know u are KP and KS.....Augmum:
There is a separate thread on RGS vs NYGH in this forum. I am an ex-RGS/RJC mummy. DD went for both RGS & NYGH open house last year. DH & DD didn't like the RGS talk (too much emphasis on excellence but little to no emphasis on character dev & values). I was more partial to Rafflesian heritage of course. Anyway DD eventually didn't apply for RGS & is very happy now in NYGH. I have met the principal during the interview. Mdm Heng is direct, firm, very balanced in her views & comments, yet warm & puts both DD & I at ease. What I like in particular is she didn't put down other schools, but let the facts speak for themselves. DD has been in NYGH for almost a year. Absolutely no regrets ...and that's coming from a true-blue Rafflesian.....
hi-five to u too, gleemom......
we shared the same sentiments of how we felt abt the talk....
no lah.....i only have 1 gal.....
what i meant above was the talk by R and not referring to the talk by N.
oh yes...talking abt Nygh, u know what....
i almost wanna to change my mind to put it as 1 st choice..... the last few mins b4 3 o'clock closing time......
but seriously considering the logistics issues,
fetching up and down 4 trips a day.......
and personally drove up to see for myself the jam at the exit of PIE..... :frustrated: :faint:
no courage to make the change......
