I thought so too,I was informed end of Jan that her C/L was not good enuff, so i had to bring her twice a week in the morning. By the end of the year she took the exam for higher chinese n was selected. Not bad, I told myself....from remedial to higher chinese, Shortly after she reached P2, I was asked to bring her for remedial again.This time it was not for C/L but english. :!: The teacher looked at her p1 marks (she scored 93 for SA2)... told my grl that her marks did not justify remedial,she told me this was to enable her to score higher.(nice way of putting it) Seems like the teachers dnt just look at the marks alone but overall. I guess early remedials paid off after all. My girl now score highest for chinese n has maintained well for english.

Looks like present P quite ambitious and driven. Poor teachers. Previous one seldom stressed out the teachers. Stress usually passed on to parents.

Your child was transfered to RGPS at P4 so the remedial that took place at P1 was back at Hengry Park? What was her CL result then that warrant remedial?

Abit confused! Your child was transfered to RGPS at P4 so the remedial that took place at P1 was back at Hengry Park? What was her CL result then that warrant remedial?[/quote]It was my kids who were transferred to RGPS not moonee's.

It's ACE Day! So it'd be a mass exercise thingy for them. Think there's going to be some concert as well. She's bringing her schoolbag to school though

Someone posted in another thread that there was an article in ST’s forum page on Sat that a P3 teacher in RGPS punished the girls by pulling their hair, tweaking their ears, and hitting their heads with their Math books? Did anyone read that article? Is it common in the school? OMG!!

Haven't seen that article, but would have thought that the MOE would have outlawed Capital Punishment in this generation! Shocking indeed! Will read it when I get home....how could that have happened?!

And RGPS better have a good response man!
