hi marvic. Just found this thread. Was surprised to hear from u that Pasir Ris don't have additional enrichment classes in the afternoon. I just chat with Dawn (i think is principal) and she told me there is several enrichment classes in the afternoon.

Btw, have you explored MRC@Tampines Central CC? Heard anything abt it? I was shocked to find out the wide range of the school fee of 3Q junior btw Pasir Ris and Tampines Central. For the same 10 weeks course, former charge $1159 and latter $270!! Any comment on this?
      Thanks.
Hi, maybe Downtown East changed their program. When my child was there, there were some enrichment classes in the afternoon but not what we wanted.

Regarding fee difference, there could be some difference but I don't think so hugh. The fees of their program per term basis cannot be $270. What kind of program did you check?

Hi there... u mention your child was transfer from MRC Paris Ris to katong. My son is in MRC Downtown east. i feel that the sch is good. Can you share your experience of your son at Pasir Ris MRC?

Hi, as I mentioned in my earlier posting, it's not that Downtown East is no good. We switched because the program and time table at Katong suits us better.

I would say higher price than say, PAP classes. But think about it, PAP classes typically has about 30 (maybe more?) pupils per class, compared with MRC which has about 10 pupils per class (in the case of Downtown East). I think the max they can go is 14 or 15 pupils.

They close down this branch due to poor response.
