Hahhahahha ok buy and throw away sounds gd since their feet will expand q fast since they r growing kids... Just to check for their dance programme (p1 n p2) during their PALS lessons, will they need to bring their ballet shoes or can just use their sch shoes? Also there will be a dance performance right? So do we need to pay for the costumes?

To me Bata shoes are fine too, as their feet grow so quickly, their shoes need to be changed frequently anyway.

No, you don't have to pay for costumes for their yearly dance festival. I believe the school recycles the costumes, and have parent volunteers do hair and makeup.

            Thank u beanstalk!! πŸ™‚

Sure ! It's great to meet new friends. Hope they are in sane class and in case my DD fall sick, any home work can help to update. Look forward to see u.

Don't worry...there is hardly any homework esp in the first 2 terms.
This term, daughter has brought home some EL, Maths and CL worksheets or activity book but not all subjects together...can be finished within 15 minutes.

              Hi Janet,
Your dd can finish her homework within 15mins. She is real fast. :salute: My dd brought back her Maths worksheets yesterday. She took more than an hour to finish it. :slapshead: Does your dd has English spelling and 听写 this week bcos school closes this Thurs and Fri. :scratchhead: Your dd has her Maths performance tasks yestersday?
              :thankyou:

:thankyou:[/quote]Yes...she can finish her work fast if she is in the mood...that's the scary part. There is 听写 tomorrow but no EL spelling this week as there is no school on Thur/Fri. Don't think she had her Math performance task yet but it should either be today or tomorrow.

Yes, my son is in P5 this year too. :hi5:

There is weekly EL spelling and 听写 too.
No CCA or ballet for her until it is compulsory...she did bug me to let her join ballet in Term 1 (must have been lots of brainwashing done) but she is usually very tired after school everyday.
Since Term 2, she has been identified for Chinese remedial as well as EL/Math, so fortunately I didn't allow her to go for ballet.

                      Hi Essential,
Would you like to discuss sons' P5 work under the other thread 'All about Preparing for P5' ?

For parents whose children are in P2 and up: the exam timetable is out on the school website. The exams are slated earlier this year!
