I like the sound of BTPS, chamonix. Warm and encouraging environment for the kids.

Thank you chamonix for sharing. My girl will be attending BTPS next year in p1.

I must confess it was not my first choice school. I wanted MGS as it's a christian school and of its secondary school affliation but no hope to get in there. Was balloted out of chij olqp too. So no choice but to go to BTPS as it's ine of the 4 schools near me.

My DD wanted an all girls' school cos she feelsboys are rough! Think she is abit the 'xiao chie' type šŸ˜‰ i hope she will be happy in BTPS!

            Hi jeanieg,

Not many parents would place BTPS as their first choice when there are so many other \"elite\" primary schools around. That's understandable. For us, all we wanted was a school nearby. Though the nearest school was SAPS (within 2km), there was zero chance for us. Hence, we settled for BTPS (>2km) and were happy with our decision. My son enjoyed his stay there greatly.

Well, boys will be boys and rowdy they will be. But fear not, if your daughter feels uncomfortable about any classmate, encourage her to speak to her teacher. An alternative outlet would be the Rainbow Lodge (hopefully I am right about the name). The counsellors there are pretty patient and will listen to the students' grouses. My son used to be a regular there during recess. šŸ˜“ If all else fails, drop a note to the teacher. No problem is too big.

Give the school and your daughter a chance. And at the end of P2/P3, if your girl still prefers an all-girls school, it's still possible.
