I wonder why the father of the child did not write it himself. Coward!! worried that his name would be known to associates

We should not jump into any conclusion based on the article alone. Every family has its own problem. I think MOE should take action against this teacher.

Sorry I beg to differ as that would be undermining the Principal's action as it was stated in the article the teacher was warned and the Principal would monitor the situation. Even reading the article as an outsider of the matter, I feel that the family could have discussed a course of follow-up actions instead of skipping to a public stunt. Just my 2 cts.

Sometimes the school or principal will not take thing seriously until the matter is made known to public.

Not sure if making it public was the FIRST course of action. I'd have thought that there should be some form of partnership between parents and the school. ..else why send the kids to school.

Though I must add that I'm surprised that there's no circular to existing parents and/or students on this.

                Hi Andaiz,

Paiseh! Paiseh! Got the got the name wrong. Should be STORK not swan.

Basically, most people can be broadly categorized into 3 categories. …Stork, Bull and Tea Strainer.

Stork – one who is able is able to sieve out the bad stuff and take in only the good stuff (fish)

Bull – one who takes in everything, swallow the good stuff and spits out the unwanted stuff.

Tea strainer – retains the unwanted tea leaves and let the good tea flow out.
  wat a way to put it...

Normally, these things are settled very quietly w/ the teacher and parents of pupils involved. Surprised that it went public.
