Today out of the blue, DD asked me why I don't give her a baby (meaning sibling)? :shock: Not sure how to answer her, I told her to ask the \"big man\" up above (God) and to pray for it if she really wants a baby bro or sis. But inside my heart feeling a little sad...maybe DD is feeling lonely... :sad:


Any mummies got similar experiences?

My DS also request for sibling like requesting for a new toy. :faint:

Did she tell you what trigger this? Mine was bcoz he found out he & another classmate are the only 2 w/o siblings.

Yah, feel sad too. 1 more person to stress me.

So are you trying for 2nd one? How old is ur DD? Mine is 6 yrs old already.

I brainwash my boy too much I guess.. ..He will tell you no thanks if asked whether he wants a sibling :razz:

Most of his classmates are only child and I suppose being the only one at home goes well with my DS at this point..

My girl hasn’t started asking for a younger sibling yet, but I know that she really likes babies cos she’s fascinated by them, and she’s actually quite good with them too, even though she’s only 2.


So I’m bracing myself for the day when she’ll start asking for a sister or a brother. It’s quite sad, cos I can tell that she really enjoys being around other kids.

Yup, yup. I would love to have 3 kids or more, but I just don't have the right family support.

My DD is 4 yo. Actually DH and I are quite contented with one cos I had one m/c b4 so quite apprehensive to try again...but now DD keeps asking mummy for a new baby...yesterday she even prayed about it (with her hands cupped together and looking up into the sky), made me feel quite sad cos having babies is really God's will. It doesn't mean you will have if you want it... :sad:
