All About Life Without Maids

have to use transformer to recharge, but heard that the transformer is only few dollars. I more keen in scooba. but wonder if it's cleaner than using mop?? :? cos after all, it's a machine robot leh.

skunk:
the trick is to take out the clothes from the tumble dryer immediately and hang them up using hangers .... i didn't get a dryer because it makes ironing harder hehe
...
give it a try. -

it can never be as clean as using human hands, but good enough, unless u want hospital-grade clean hehe. -

that means still need to hang....hmmm it might not cut down on my labour much. I think it's great for large families, in case of rainy/damp days, die, no clothes to wear because not dry yet lol

for my tiny family i think no need, since me and my wife are naked most of the time at home...baby also naked....we're a nudist colony lol the only things wearing clothes are my dogs in their fur coats. -
I am a FTWM with 3 kids (5yo, 8yo, 10yo) without a maid.
My youngest is in childcare. And my other 2 boys are currently in student care (newly join).
We don’t have a part-time maid.
We do tingkat.
DH will cheong home by 6pm to cook rice and heat up the food.
While I pick up the 2 older boys from the school/ student care.
We will eat dinner, wash up and bathe… and by 8pm… it is homework time. Whole family will sit together… either DH do work with the boys and I handle the youngest girl… or vice versa.
Lights off for the kids by 9:30pm, after story time.
In between, I will steal time to handle the laundry or do a quick mop/sweep of the floor.
DH will go to work later on Wed and Thur mornings (he can work flexi-time) to vacuum & mop the floor, and wash toilet respectively. Then I reserve my Sat morning for marketing, furniture cleaning, vacuum and mop, plus whatever. And Sun night is for ironing.
I also try to cook on Sat lunch and Sun lunch. Sometimes also Sat night when my brother’s family & dad come over for dinner.
Recently there are some changes to the boys’ care arrangement…they used to be cared for by a close friend. We discussed about the maid option again… not because of housework or the cost… but for the boys. But we decided to give Student Care a try first… if really really no choice… we may get a maid just to make sure that the boys are well taken care of.
But the thought of having a maid … sigh…

Heyya Emelyn, long time no see.
Hey! Good to know you’ve finally
secured the older children into a
student care. Can PM me details
on the centre, fees and routine? -

the hanging is not to dry it as it is already dried up the tumble dryer.

the hanging is to \"straighten\" the clothes and for most material, eliminate the need to iron; others only minor touch-up ironing is needed. -
