WCW:
any mommies put ur child in any chinese enrichment? which is good?
I place my DDs at Molin and I like it but whether it is good or not, this is really up to the parent's expectations of the centre. -
have you checked out the All About Chinese Enrichment Thread?
-
WCW:
:spank: :rotflmao: , I read everything , called the centres to get a feel before making my decision.so many pages haha... see the number of pages i surrender haha...
so wana short cut and ask here hehehe...
If you are staying Molin then you have a landmine of selections as Parkway is full of it
have you short list any? -
Good afternoon mommies, been away past few days for a short trip. So glad to be back to unlimited WIFI and 3G.

jedamum, this is very useful!
you have printer at home?Kissgurami:
Sat down with my DD2 today to check out her handwriting... her holding skills still require fine tuning
was hoping to grab some penman ship writing books @ popular but couldn't find any... hiaz
use this to customise what you want the kid to write.

i use a similar tool (forgot the website address already) to teach my ds2 to write his name.
print it out, slip it into a clear sheet folder and voila! a wipe clean book!
but i would suggest print out to use pencil to write cos the strength involved in using marker and pencil is different.
any similar tool that you happen to know for Chinese writing? -

I also choose Berries simply because of positive feedback from many parents. Sticking with it for the moment since DD enjoys the classes and watching Xi Yang Yang cartoon after class while waiting to be picked up. They have an audio CD each term that we can play during car journeys. So far we think that her Mandarin speaking has improved quite a lot and no more rejection to speak the language.hehehe... okok i :spank: myself... i not good in my mandarin so it is a challenge for me to find centre. i will not know which material is good n which is not. Also what to look out for...
yes, parkway has SOOOO many centres
that's why need :?:
shortlisted:
Berries - looks like many parents choose them. but like price abit on the high side
Tien Hsia - i have discount there but then wana look ard maybe there are others?
Hua Language - coz got one in parkway haha...
Eduplus - location not that good though...
Edufarm - dunoe good or not lei...
Went to Tien Hsia previously when DD was in N1, mainly to expose her to Chinese and have some fun with the language, no high expectations at that time. Bonus is for me to have that 1+hr of shopping time while she is at class  -

If not for your link, I won't even know that such tools exist. No need to buy the practise book from Popular already.
