Angelight, 加油 :rahrah: My initially plan was juz to hv one child due to work commitment. When my dd1 was around 3yrs old n pestering us to hv a sibling. I hv tried for nearly 3 yrs n finally god blessed me with another child when I was almost 40yrs old...

thanks.....but sometimes, feel really really :gloomy: , the MIL is no joke and neither is FIL. Recently, he has turned bad tempered, would shove his plates/bowl/food and spit his phelgm everywhere or onto his hand and just fling!!! I really dunno how much can I tolerate and MIL is just making things worse with her yells and scoldings (can't touch me too much....so she'll go after the maid loh....but I get angry cos' I think she's being ridiculous and I can't stand all the yellings. For goodness sake, this is my home, it's supposed to be quiet and peaceful :mad: :stompfeet:
Sorry, guess a little off topic and upset now....cos' just had another encounter with her....no matter how happy I was, step into house will get fedup.

How is your little one? Actually just went to a 1-month celebration of a friend.....holding a baby is always so peaceful (that is when they are sleeping ).

Sorry didn't reply for so long.

DS2 been very ill and was hospitalized. So have been tending to him.

I really sympathize with your predicament. But at the same time, have utmost respect towards you for handling the situation that you are in to the best of your ability :salute:

I do not face any major issues with ILs but I do face major ones with my mom and sister. It's like the roles have been reversed, ironically. Sometimes I wonder whether I was swopped or perhaps I was tagged incorrectly at the hospital because I am so different from my family in terms of outlook towards life etc ....

I do hope you will find some measure of peace really soon.

DS2 is a joy to have, very guai After so many miscarriages before and after DS1, I have been blessed with another miracle

How is your DS2 now? Hope he is better. Do take good care of yourself as your family will need you.

For me, things are a lot easier now (not very nice to say so tho :oops: )
FIL fell ill and was hospitalized and then he was diagnosed with terminal stage of cancer. From there, things progressed really fast and within 2.5 months, FIL passed away. Tho furious with him previously, my anger just disappeared.....to watch him suffer at the last stage was kinda sad still. Fortunately, in his final days in hospital, with proper medical care he was in a lot lesser pain and passed away very peacefully. After that, we let the maid go too. Guess with 2 sets of problem gone, it's pretty peaceful now. (hope dun get struck by lightning for saying such things :lightrod:
