I think TCB answered this question well.

TT has a tendency to interrupt, and it is very annoying, and most disrespectful. I see it in this video, and so it is from the forum on the online citizen. The funny thing is that he is always \"allowed\" to interrupt others, given time to finish what he wants to say. In this video, I really pity the other candidates that they have to fight for their rights to answer the question. In the other video on the heated discussion, TJS wasn't even given a chance to complete what he wanted to say. :mad: TT's immediate reaction is a threat! There is mockery in his eyes, his arrogance oozing in his contented smile of being sided by the host.

The more I see into this election, the sadder I get. I see how our President will be like, and I can envision nothing is going to change in our country :sad:

To have someone who works well with the govt be president, who is familiar with how the govt works, or to have someone who have the courage be differently because it is the right thing to do? Which one is more important?

to me, not pre-requisite, we are multi-racial and multi-lingual, and should not expect the President to be good in many languages. We could have president from any racial / lingual background

Good English is a must, any other languages is a bonus

I don't think only those who are fully fluent in Chinese language are qualified to be education minister. But personally, I believe it makes some difference in whether he is fluent in his mother tongue. Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe he speaks fluent Malay?

Also don't like the look on his face when TJS spoke. He was like brushing TJS off, just like garment brushing pp off when they air their views. One step nearer to my decision on who Not to vote for.

Wormy, my point exactly. Even yr kids can see that the question was not directly answered. This is not the first time, and nor it will be the last time. It is an art, speaking a lot, in circles/ beating around the bushes and not answering the question. My son sometimes try it on me ( unsuccessfully ) when he is confronted on doing something he was not supposed to do

I personally feel many has brushed off the roles and duties of the EP, and are only looking for a good image to represent as Head of State. The duties are much much more than that, though not in politics directly, but more with human rights and protecting the past reserves. So, we should consider carefully which one ( or more ) of the candidates can fulfill these duties diligently, courageously and correctly. We do not want too confrontational, yet we should not accept too accomodatively as well, and we must hope he will have the courage not to cower in times when he has to make his stand firm, for the people's and country sake.
