Tinkerbelle, wow so soon. Has your dd been studying very hard, having extra classes and all?
Hi michyms,
Yes, the year has really gone by too quickly...
The sch gets external vendors in to conduct supplementary lessons for the P6 gals plus teachers are also giving them lots of past year papers so she's super busy. We treat these as some form of revision.
However, she doesn't think she's ready for prelims yet. Will be doing intensive revision this weekend....keke. Better late than never.

:thankyou:, missed your posting. I'm so so excited now.. can't wait for 19-Nov Orientation. I'm even more excited then my DD. I'm thinking bringing her shopping for a bigger shoe bag & school shoes this weekend.
Tinkerbelle: I'm sure your DD will do well for her PSLE. -

hehe, my dd don't have mood to prepare all these CAs. When she returned from school on wednesday, she just told me that her form teacher said no homework, no e-learning and no spelling, so don't worry. :slapshead:
Hi LLX04,
:thankyou: for your well wishes.
All the best to your DD for her CA2 next week. Jia You!! :rahrah:

Wow...shopping already? Yes...it's really exciting, isn't it? I can still remember the adrenalin rush when DDs started P1.
Think you should buy slightly bigger shoes, in case your DD has a growth spurt over the Dec holidays...hehe
Enjoy your shopping. :moneyflies:

Keke...kids will be kids. DD2 is also like she's in honeymoon period after so many long weekends.
Anyway they're only in P1-P2, so this is the best time for them to enjoy. Thankfully, the CA2 papers are not too tough. Good luck. :rahrah: -

Wow external vendors! Is it like tuition teachers? Or enrichment centers to conduct the extra lessons? Yes better late than never. I was still cramming the night before my PSLE exams if I didn't recall wrongly

Which secondary school is your dd and her friends aiming for?

Ya...the sch engages an enrichment centre to conduct extra lessons for the gals but it's not compulsory. Some gals chose not to attend as they have their own tuition or enrichment lessons.
These are some of the common schs DD and most of her classmates are aiming for: St Nic, SCGS, Cedar, NJC and RGS.

Hi michyms,
Have posted a pm to you :). -

Sounds like good choices to me! Is the IP programme at RI also an option that MCS girls consider? I hope your dd will get into one of above. Do they pick schools before or after PSLE results are announced?Ya...the sch engages an enrichment centre to conduct extra lessons for the gals but it's not compulsory.
