No worries...I understand your concerns.
Since Magdalene is 'authorised seller' for IJ TP uniform, get it from them.
As for PE attire, it's great that the vendor is located in Chinatown. So far, I've yet to get anything again.

You can get the uniform at the same time you buy the books...Nov should be ok. Kids will 'expand' when they go to school. My petite girl has expanded a little since she started school...btw, her pinafore is the smallest size, so the length is just nice.

Have seen shops selling CHIJ pinafores but to me the shade of blue is not quite right. It is very obvious when the girl stands in uniform with the rest.

What is the rush...why not wait till the stipulated days to get the pinafores.

Some vendors claim their pinafores are for IJ schools but the shade of blue is different when girls stand together. Since Magdalene is authorized by the school, it's best to get it from them. Same goes for PE attire, Lucky Chance is authorized by IJ Kellock & TP for their PE tops/shorts.

Yes, P1s have Maths, EL/CL oral, and other tests as well.
They just had Chinese test yesterday (Chap 1-10)...EL oral this week as well.

NO exam...but tests every 10 weeks.
There is EL and CL oral. Isn't this like having CA1/2, SA1/2 ???
No report book, but progress file. In short, STRESS.
