They take the marks of term 1,2 and 3. For those not exempted, the EOY marks are also taken into account. Those exempted will have to do some research/project/whatever. They won't be partying around. I suspect they may be busier than those taking EOY exam. They can also opt to take EOY even if exempted, but P advised them not to.
so how does RV grade those pupils who are exempted ??
i mean the marks are spread among assignments, projects, tests and EOY throughout the yr.....
so w/o EOY , how are the marks be alloted ?? -

but generally, it is easier to score in term 1,2 and 3, as compared to EOY
as for EOY, it covers all topics throughout the yr, and it is a \"Full paper\"
as for DHS, EOY takes up 50% of the overall marks.....
so the pupils are more gancheong when EOY is concerned.... -

My dd was interviewed by 2 people. The questions were :
1) What attracted you to the school ?
2) What other schools you have applied for DSA ?
3) The school mission is to develop the potential to care, serve and lead. Give an example of how you have cared for someone.
hmm....so rather general questions been asked....
at least not one which i ever heard from another school, \" do u cook at home?\"
are the applicants being interviewed in small grps or individual ??Apricot:
oh yes......DHS likes to emphasize on čÆ äæ” å åæ3) The school mission is to develop the potential to care, serve and lead.

There are 11 classes of triple sciences in sec.3 level......my dd's class has 8 PRC classmates(is it a lot???)many thanks to u for your concern, dd is quite involved in her debate, sometimes if she has nothing on Saturday, I just let her slack watching t.v.programme and she loves to eat too!!!!she always says that she has no time to eat at school during weekdays so must make up on weekends
 as long as she enjoys, just let her be.......better than she goes out and I don't know what is she doing outside...... :? :? :? right??? -

i mean triple sciences with geog combo, how many classes are there ??
8 PRC is quite a lot leh....(understand that most only join in yr3, isit??)
haha, yr gal is juz like my gal, who loves to eat,
so i usually cook her favourite dishes or bake cakes/cookies for her to enjoy them at home.......
btw, if u like to bake, (or yr gal likes baking stuff) there are kind forummers
who post their trusted recipes at the tuckshop section,
if free....u can take a look at that section for some new ideas....
oh yes, their recess time is very rush......not only that.....
is a common scene to see her classmates munching in the classroom rather than
to go to the canteen as they make use of the recess time to finish their unfinished HW or learn tingxie.......

Augmum, the students can eat in class?

Hi Augmum
Understand that there is only one class with the usual combination + geog, maybe not that popular I suppose, the rest maybe the usual + literature or history......hope your dd gets in what she wants next year.......
