actually i think there are some mummies with kids in BPPS (can see from the Bukit Panjang thread over at Sch selection thread); just have to wait for them to have the time to drop by.

I will be registering my son next yr at phase 2A2. Called up the school but they do not have any open house. Thus I would like to know more about the school environment, the teachers and CCAs and also what are the choices of student care centre at BP area. Btw, I am staying at CCK. TIA! -
Hi,
Really happy to find this thread for BPPS!
I am a SAHM with 2 boys. Elder one in Class 2E. -
My boy is in 1A

hello daddys & mummys
are you all aware of any after school care that is near bukit panjang Primary?
My son is going there next year… we are staying within 1km of school but i cant find a before school care… -
Hi
There’s one at St Joseph Church Kindergarten for primary school children - they rent the premises from the kindergarten. I know most of the students they take are from CHIJ located opposite, but you may want to check if they also take other students. -
Emelyn:
hmmm.... feeling lonely here....

Hi emelyn,
don't be too lonely, k? let an alumni join you here.
My 2 sisters and I are ex-bpps and ex-bpghs. We spent our formative years there and subsequently graduated from the nus. bpps is an excellent school and yr child is in good hands.
Did you know the school used to be near the carpark beside ten-mile junction? Back then, on Saturdays when we had to take a public bus to school, we had trouble reaching for the bell (bells were on the ceiling of bus only and we were too short) and sometimes missed our stop. Sometimes, we would walk the 3 bus stops home to save ourselves the embarrassement.

Hi Mathsparks,
What you have just described… brings back memory !!
Yap. I remember the prev location of the school. In fact, everytime I pass by Ten Mile Junction… I will tell my 2 sons… "You know… last time your school was here… blah blah…" And they go…"Ma… you have said that many times already !!" LOL.
I used to stay in the old CCK. I went to Jalan Teck Whye Pri Sch. My sister and brother went to Nam San school… Then my parents realised that my sis and bro’s English was HORRIBLE and TERRIBLE… so moved my bro to BPPS when he was P6. (He and my younger sis are 5 yrs apart). But didn’t do it for my sis because v blur during her time.
Anyway… turn out to be ok lah. My sister now resides in Cambridge, England and speaks Queen’s English.
Hi ATST,
You can check out Adelfibel at Blk 438. My sons just started there. So, I can’t really give my assessment yet. But, according to a friend whose son is also there, that’s the only one that meets her criteria. -
my dd is in P3 this year, I realised that there aren’t any cohort ranking in her report book in P1 & P2… and if i rem correctly there aren’t even class ranking… would there be ranking info in P3’s report book?

Hi Keroppi30,
there is no ranking (class level nor cohort level) on the report book from P1 to P6. If your child is invited to the prize giving ceremony, then she is top 3 in the class. However, if you check with the teacher, most of the times they will tell you. DS1's P3 teacher told the children who are in the top 20. Teachers will also announce in the class what is the highest, average and lowest marks for each subj. But, provided your child pays attention and jotted it down in the first place. DS1 usually can't tell us all these information.
