No of Children
-
HI
I do not sit the kids together to teach them. I find the kids tend to talk and play together rather than do their work. I sit them in separate rooms eg, DS1 in study room, DD2 in my master room, DS3 at dining table. I brief each of them separately then leave them to do their work, sometimes I went out to run errands before coming back to check on them. If I am short of time, I ask them to mark their work themselves and ask me if they do not understand. -
I have two.I stay with them and guide them.My elder in P3 but so playful, younger one needed guide. When they are ver small,I found difficult to teach together. Now ok.

Breadandmuffins:
hey Breadandmuffins,I have four. All 2 Yrs apart and two boys two girls. They are still very young and I am tearing my hair out everyday. :frustrated:
I am not the type who likes children but after the first two, I don't mind having the third. 4th is a surprise but she is so lovable......no regrets although I was very fearful I cannot cope when I was pregnant. However, we became more experienced along the way so the third and fourth were pretty easy to handle when they were babies. I have not heard of anyone who regretted having more so if you can, go ahead with more children.
My kids are all 2 yrs apart too. Currently have 3 kids and will be delivering my 4th one at end of the year. also 2 boys and 2 girls. All mine are very young, eldest one going to Pri 1 next year.
Oh, I read about the pastor with 7 kids too. Agree with you, very inspiring indeed. -
I have 1 and I really take my hat off to all parents with 2 kids and above

Actually, I think having 2 kids/more will eventually make life easier for you. One big advantage, they keep each other occupied instead of turning to you all the time. hahaI have 1 and I really take my hat off to all parents with 2 kids and above

Funz:
my son is 15 this year and as to keeping each other occupied if I have 2 kids, I would rather think there's more chances of them arguing and running to me for help :faint: than keeping themselves occupied. I see this with my SIL, sisters and nieces so I stand by my decision to have 1 kid only.
