Last week when I was travelling and having my period, brought DD for toilet breaks and much as i tried to avoid, she saw and asked me why got blood. Didn’t know how to answer her on the spot so I just smiled and told her next time you will know when you grow up. What would have been a better answer?

            Hi,

My girl is 5 years old this year. Thought I would join one of the clubs at KSP for some sharing and bonding. My 5 year old is not adapting that well to Singaporean education. Too outspoken.

my DD have PSP and DS. the PSP was really hubby's but of course all the gadgets eventually go to the lil kids. we sold the PSP a few days ago coz it's just gathering dust. she will only play it when she sees it. and when she's playing with it, will only play for like 15mins coz she cant get out of the level. even her DS she only plays for a short time.

she can also play with my iPhone and the family iPad. i dont set a time limit for her - because she stops after a few minutes. even the educational games/apps she only plays for a few minutes.
she can also use my laptop to play NickJr or Disney or Starfall. but like mobile devices, she only plays for a few minutes 🙂

i like the DS more than the PSP coz it has more educational games. 🙂

                  u r not fr Sg :?

Yes I am but we were in France with hubby for his work for 2 years so my kids went to international school there. Now my dd who is 5 is used to that style of learning, I am wondering how I can help her.

It was just a mere 2 years but maybe it was her formative 2 years. My older boy
has no problem adjusting back in Singapore.

she asks a lot of questions? makes a lot of comments in class? maybe you can always remind her to raise her hand before asking or saying something?
