      concern2,

if he was really out of touch with the media popularity, his first choice would have been Xiang Yun or Huang Wenyong.

      http://i56.tinypic.com/21ox2lw.jpg\">

Actually I think either Xiang Yun or Huang Wenyong would be better choices than SA. At least they appeal to the older generation. What about SA? She appeal neither to the young nor the old.

😆 Have to agree with this! But I think most celebs would be wise enough to avoid endorsing anyone lest they lose fans from the other supporters. SA has not much to lose since she hasn't been in the lime light for some time.

I thought cooling day applies to the gagging of the candidates? 🙂 So the electorate must be gagged too?

Just to confirm that cooling off day applies to everyone not just the candidates or his supporters?

                      insider:
Me got swing to TJS but worry about my 帅 got makan by the 渔翁。

So tmr will go and get some news from bookies and decide from there (I will vote for the one who is likely to win 渔翁; meaning if bookies say TJS will win TCB, I will give my vote to TJS to further increase his chance and vice versa...)

Wat if bookies say tt will win .... U vote for tt too( just curious)

Before the clock strike 12, just my take on this.

What do we want from a President? The constitution states the limited power of the president. Yes, it has been reiterated even in the national TV roundtable by Tommy Koh.But, who exactly draw the constitution and can we change it? Can Singaporean has a share to draft or amend our constitution? Maybe our parents were not as educated as us then but look as most Singaporeans now…the new generation definitely have views. Maybe we need a change.

Controlled media in Singapore has just showed us how effective it has been. How it has painted TJS to be aggressive, someone with political agenda. But yet with media, we can see how true TCB is, how honest TKL is in his answer and how prepared TT came.

I guess we should all vote with our hearts, voting for our next generation and our children. We know the 12 years under Mr Nathan has been peaceful, perhaps too peaceful that nothing much change except the competitiveness in the society to vie for jobs, to vie for a space in public transport and even for a place in school. Or maybe it became worst…

The question is…"When will our voices, the Singaporean voices be heard?" If Singaporeans can all stand as one and not be misled with the half-story of our controlled media, our future Singaporeans will then benefit fromthe democracy of what our system can bring. This, our people elected President should achieve this.

Well,we can choose to have another peaceful/ silent 5 years. But I have to take the quote from LKY in GE2011:"Do not regret it for the next 5 years".
