      Way2GO:

      2. Mongrel – A common breed seen in SG.
Elegant looking would be too much of an exaggeration. One wouldn’t be proud to display its photos in public places.
Speaks funny. Not top dog material.

It's very funny this description, and very apt. But the mongrel's female companion reminds me of a poodle....a very well-kept poodle.
      Way2GO:
      4. Bulldog – not a pretty looking dog, just like its female companion.
Cover its face if don't want to scare d children.
Sourpuss looks aggressive, but is actually gregarious.
Can be wilful n fiercely loyal, which is good against an unyeilding bigger opponent.
okay, i dunno if this is bulldog. but the \"not pretty looking one, just like its female companion\" really cracks me up. i'm bracing myself in case bulldog wins - for the next 6 years of looking at her picture in papers.

hquek, Way2Go, this is very funny! Now I am trying to figure out who they best describe.. but must beware, cos some of us here may think this is mocking.. πŸ¦†

        Hi concern2,

Yup, was a bit concerned also about the animal analogy. Not quite correct since we are talking about the highest person in the land. But today is cooling off day, joke can lah.

Anyway, last bit on the dog analogy. I don’t think 3. is a golden retriever (just gentle and trusting). I read his interview where he was reminiscing about going up against Goh Keng Swee in the early days about some education issue. Also did faintly recall about him standing up about the graduate mother scheme and some others in parliament.

Did I let that golden bit out of the bag? or I made wrong association?

What type of guard dog would u pick tmr?

            1. Doberman – Elegant looking dog n extremely loyal to their loved ones.
Can be aggressive to strangers. Obedient, only respond to one owner.
This breed was originally bred to be a personal protection dog.
Not a ppl’s kind of dog.

            2. Mongrel – A common breed seen in SG.
Elegant looking would be too much of an exaggeration. One wouldn’t be proud to display its photos in public places.
Speaks funny. Not top dog material.

            3. Golden Retreiver – a versatile dog good for a variety of roles
except its trusting n gentle nature makes it unsuitable for a guard dog.
            Makes a good house pet.

            4. Bulldog – not a pretty looking dog, just like its female companion.
Cover its face if don't want to scare d children.
Sourpuss looks aggressive, but is actually gregarious.

            walao wei, Way2GO  ,

you label with all these animal names, not afraid to kena yellow card for being DEROGATORY ???
Semalam saya baru cakap satu 'anak ayam', sudah kena shoot.
            DesertWind:
Personally, any reference to any animal is not nice to me. :skeptical:

And yes, the old adage again \"old ginger is spiciest\" - as seen in Ivy S-L's speech, and TCB's strategy.

If u still cannot decide who to vote ... Maybe a simplify version will help u πŸ˜„

Who would you put in a room to watch your kid to make sure he do his homework properly?

                1) his best friend
                2) the teacher that he don't like
                3) grandfather that he knows he can easily convince him not to tell u if he misbehave
                4) A uncle that your kid think he can step over

                      Big fish:
Since so many of you supported TCB, can someone clarify why he make a fuss about indoor and outdoor rallies? Does he mean outdoor ones are low class? I wanted to vote for him and placed him at my first choice, now I have change my mind. I also not very high class.

Still don't know who to choose next? May be invalid votes, hee hee.
For me I did not think it as \"high-class\" or \"low-class\" but as consideration for his supporters to give them a nice cooling place to go to! Very good mah, got air-con, Singapore very hot leh!

Yah and it's sheltered so not scared of heavy downpour. I also agree nothing to do with class. Just consideration for his supporters.
