Hi may I know if Any mummies in here knows any gymnastic school that r pro to coach asd kids ? Appreciate any suggestion thanks

For ASD kids, might be better to send for OT (occupational therapy). Their activities are somewhat like gym activities but it's structured and tailored to help the ASD child.

Gym activités whilst fun is not targeted to help the ASD's specific problems and issues.

This journey is overwhelming physically, emotionally and mentally.

It’s about coping with the stress of the unknown and the constant change.
It’s about having to drop all assumptions and relearn again.
It’s about learning to hold lightly and not grip.
It’s about learning to let go when it’s no longer apt to hold on.
It’s about rethinking what humanity is about.
It’s about asking what to give rather than what to take.
It’s about learning what seems right may not be right at all.
It’s about staring at your fears in the face and dealing with them head-on.
It’s about learning new facts about life that you would otherwise never imagine yourself discovering.

Oic, thanks for clarifying. Then, go ahead and let dd join other activities. Shd be fun for her as well. Can also consider ballet (if she likes dancing). Good to expose them to other activities apart from therapy-related sessions. 😉

Totally agree. A good coach/ instructor makes a lot of positive difference

Coz I felt that all non typical kids should be given the equal opportunities of exposure like the typical. Regardless their behavior is different from the typical as long as they r not violent and of course they reAlly need a teacher or coach who teaches them with a heart of gold.

The extra gymwork is actually still good to strengthen low muscle tone, improve vestibular balance and even motor planning as they are required to take multi step instruction. It should not replace OT but compliment it. Plus it's fun for them too!
