I've seen that before and not unnatural lah. Could be due to hot and cold air colliding in each other's path causing a mini cyclone.

For hotel, this is what I practise :

* Knock before entering
* Make sure nothing is blocking my forehead eg. fringe
* The moment i got in, I will bring display the amulet (s). Given to my mum from a monk and so far I always make sure I bring it whenever I travel. If I am travelling alone, I will put that by my bedside or on the bed.

For times where the hotel staff/ bell boy bring me to the room, I would let them enter the room first. I never rush to go first in this case.

I never switch off the lights. In fact, I will make sure every single light is on. I always switch on the tv the entire night. But I usually make sure it’s news channel such as CNBC, CNA. Wouldn’t want to be some tv program… imagine waking up in the middle of the night and they are playing some horror movies???

Nope, I was in open area, there was not much wind that I can feel but not far from me there was this pile of leaves and rubbish that were being blown in a circular motion like a mini cyclone.

Is it possible to explain with the hot and cold air colliding theory? It was in broad daylight.

If you are inclined towards believing in the supernatural, then a lot of things that happen are caused by 'other' beings.


A lot of weird stuff that happens can be explained with science. I am one who lean towards more earthly explanations before I dive into supernatural causes.

some years back, dh and i went house hunting. we dont like to bring kids along in case wrong vibes got attracted to them.


anyway, we saw this huge apartment near to thomson medical centre. very bright and airy and noisy (highway and main road) but the corridor outside and lifts and stairs are not a pretty sight. agent kept telling us it has huge enbloc potential and we were pretty tempted by the price and huge space. despite the bright and airy indoor, i just dont feel comfortable in the unit so we skipped this deal.

much later, were told by friends that there was a reason (as subject title) why that buiding was painted in these 2 colours.

i have no idea if it is true. anyone know anything about this?

everytime i drove past that place, i still think of the huge space which i like very much.

what is the story behind the colours?
