Yes, Mr Gan will do home deliveries. This year most schs prelims end late (last week) and with the public and sch hols this week, seems like the prelim papers might be later and not ready by Sep 1-wk hols period!

                Dear all

Prelim results is already out. What do u think the chances for him to passed his psle when he has failed all his prelim papers? Does he qualified to go to norm/tech stream with all just above u grade…around 30+marks. Wat option does he have and what are the chance if he retake his psle, could he have done better and proceed to sec 1?. Any experience or view pls share. Thanks.

How many times do the school allowed to retake psle?

Which one is better, enter northlight/pathlight or retake psle?

Have you spoken to your kid's teachers and principal? What are their recommendation? I think it should be ascertained if the prelim papers are set at a much higher standard compared with PSLE. If not, check with the principal about alternative and if there is possibility of considering foundation subjects, etc.

You may want to consider homeschool too which is christian base.

                      Just sharing

Sorry to hear this. How has he been doing in the past ? Some kids are just not academically inclined. But if he has been doing ok in the past, ie, able to pass the subjects, maybe he was just too nervous, or didn't prepare well enough.

My nephew did badly for his PSLE, got below 150 and posted to a normal tech school. He was doing well in normal tech and after n-level, went to ite. He was hoping to get a place in poly soon.

There are many different routes different individuals can take. As long as we as parents give them our support. some at this age are still not mature enough to realise the importance of education. That is why we need to guide and support them as much as we can.

                        Good luck !
