For my ds1's school, we had SAs and CAs last year in P1, and of course this year too. But i think minority, most schools don't seem to have exams for lower primary. -

i use my mixer to knead, haha. arms not enough muscle. CMI.

ya i love the smell of baking bread too. i feel hungry too!
i use my oven to bake now, but the results vary more than using bread maker. my mom has it so before I got married i used breadmaker. results more consistent.
also more troublesome, so i seldom bake bread nowadays.
kitchen too small, not enough space for breadmaker lei. so must use oven lor. since already have oven.
i don't have microwave oven and toaster also. all those appliances that take up more counter top space, cannot buy lor. must make those existing ones multi task. -

i tried making jam and kaya from scratch before too. kids don’t appreciate, very sad lei, cos it’s very troublesome. only me and Dh eat. so now i don’t make anymore. but actually i like homemade from scratch, cos fresh and nice
