If it hurt there, you will have problem sitting right?SAHM_TAN:
Sahm tan, I was in semi sitting position. how to describe? you just picture la.
so when fully dilated, i was pushing already. pushed too hard i think. baby pressed too hard on the end part of the spine (tailbone) as she came out.
after that, tailbone hurt like mad. took a couple of months to get back to normal.
i had to lie down to nurse the whole 1st week. and i ate my meals standing up. it's either stand or lie. cannot sit. too painful.
my doc said can go for jab to relieve pain but i am afraid of spinal jabs.
so just tahan. he said will take couple of months to go away. really did. so thankfully now ok.
:nailbite:
how i stumble upon this post... so lucky to come over juz b4 I :snooze: ...
Kabby, I also sustained tailbone injury before, when giving birth to ds1. Didn't realise it until the epidural wears off and it was so painful... I used the float for the entire 1 month confinement period, and eat on my bed like on the hospital bed. I still remember bringing it around for all the checkups and in/out of hospital (no bian cos ds1 had jaundice) and people looked at me :? It was the most painful when trying to get up from sitting position. Even after the maternity leave and back to office, I had a hard time. It kind of fully recovered after 6 months.
The first child birth experience ... the first time I learnt that I actually have a longer tailbone than most people :slapshead: No wonder I juz couldn't do sit-ups! -
Good morning, Club 2005 friends! :grphug:
