But something that I’ve always wondered.
After marriage, what made you guys (SAHMs) give up you career and stay at home?
You people don’t sound like the typical housewives that I thot I knew.

At one point, I did think of not working (very stressful), but I knew that with my type of character, it will be even more stressful if I deal with the kids and only with the kids all day long.

winth, I also thought SAHMs=typical housewives especially after I became one for some years after DD was born. (Not referring to me, of course, but the SAHMs I met then.) If only I met some of the SAHMs here (like buds!), my social life would've been more interesting back then.

Really? The only interesting SAHMs I met back then were the Caucasian ones at DD's playgroup.
