I try to brush up son's 语文应用 as it is a section which he can score in...as well as 完成对话. As for 短文填空, it's tough as the 词语 are similar in meaning. Bought this for my son last year...perhaps you would like to check it out.

This is not a new title...been around since my son was in P1. Didn't get anymore titles from this author bcos it's rather difficult. No point getting too tough ones since it's demoralizing.[/quote]Yup. Have bought one SAP chinese assessement book before. It was too challenging and my ds1 refused to do. From then I did not buy any SAP chinese assessment books again. Have the impression that they are very tough.

Hi Champion/PiggyLalala,

It’s always like that…sometimes when I find helpful assessment books, they may not be available for other levels…cannot understand why. Can’t the authors continue…that 短文填空 完成对话 is one good example…only available for P4. P5 and P6 will still be tested in these sections right and they can be killer ones too.

EPH books are right on top shelf…Casco on 2nd shelf. If I want to check out EPH, I’ll be standing all the way. As for SAP books, I will be kneeling.

The reason why I know which shelves those books are placed is because I always get backache after a 'shopping trip'. The SAP assessment are right at the bottom. Maybe I should bring along an Ikea stool hor :idea:
