So you manage to get a co? Thanks for the info. We are still waiting for DHS reply. But on a happy note, we received a phone confirmation for a co
from Victoria school for the VCA IP course last Friday. Regards.
Hi rylee, yes, my DD managed to get a CO through performing art. Congrats on the CO from Victoria. :congrats: And hope you get another good news tomorrow. The letter might be delayed a day at the Post office
as now they don't do delivery on Sat.
DD got the CO letter from RVHS, but still waiting for DHS. Her sister DSA DHS three years ago, all of her classmates got the CO & WL letter at the same day. Start worrying now..... :nailbite:WeiHan:
oh yes, would be interested to know which pri sch is thatMay i know where is the primary school? Is it in the east?
since all 8 who applied 3 yrs ago had gotten CO and WL.
i presume the 8 classmates are not all girls but mixed.......
and any idea which domain they applied for ??
one of my fren's daughter was rejected by DHS
even though she was the top few of the school cohort (applied under academics).
somehow, i feel that boys who DSA to DHS stands a better chance than girls ......
Hi Augmum,
My daughter just received the rejection letter from DHS (applied through academics). Like your friend's daughter, my dd was also the top few in her school. Her overall results has average more than 87% and best in Maths since P4. During the DHS interview, they even commented that she spoke very well. It seems to me that it is extremely difficult for a mainstreamer to get into DHS DSA academics. :scared: -

I think with your daughter good result, it should not be a problem for her to enter DHS thru' s1 posting. Jia you.

am sorri to hear of yr gal's rejection letter fr DHS.
Indeed, it’s rather evident that the DSA selection favours the GEP pupils under academics domain...... (not only this sch)
yr gal had done very well, i sense her results consistency
have faith that she will do well again this coming PSLE….
加油 !!! , look forward hearing good news fr u after PSLE -

Thank you Augmum ! My daughter just jokingly told me yesterday that if she gets very very good PSLE results, she will be interviewing the various top school personnel instead.... asking them \"How can your school contribute to my future and why should I go to your school???\" For those who don't give satisfactory answers.... they will receive delayed rejection letters. Haha ! Nice dream....
