      Hello Tinkerbelle,

      I totally agreed with you.
From what I observed, the way she guide the kid, from a 37/40 marks compo to a near full mark compo, am totally speechless....
I finally convinced that its possible to hit perfect score after this prelim.

      Cheers,
      Leanne

      Hi Tinkerbelle,

Yes, she is a very dedicated teacher.Constantly giving support and motivation to her 40 over kids in class.I am thoroughly impressed.

Definately, we dont want to sit for the science paper.

      Cheers,
      Leanne

      Hi Leanne,
Your DS is indeed blessed to have such a dedicated teacher. It can really make a BIG difference to the child when the teacher is caring & encouraging. The students will be more motivated too. :rahrah:

This question is from a neighbourhood school prelims.

                P6 Math
Leslie bought some sweets and gave 2/3 of it to Alan. Alan bought some chocolates and gave 2/3 of it to Leslie. Leslie ate 6 chocolates and Alan ate 6 sweets. The ratio of Leslie’s chocolates to sweets become 2:1 and the ratio of Alan’s chocolates to sweets is 4:5. How many chocolates did Alan buy? (5 marks)

                    Someone asked me the question.

My answer is 48 chocolates. 🙂 Solved by drawing models.

Exactly like one of the past year PSLE question - just change the fraction and ratio numbers. Easiest to solve by modelling.
