      Hi Augmum,

My daughter just received the rejection letter from DHS (applied through academics). Like your friend's daughter, my dd was also the top few in her school. Her overall results has average more than 87% and best in Maths since P4. During the DHS interview, they even commented that she spoke very well. It seems to me that it is extremely difficult for a mainstreamer to get into DHS DSA academics. :scared:

      hi Apricot,
am sorri to hear of yr gal's rejection letter fr DHS.

Indeed, it’s rather evident that the DSA selection favours the GEP pupils under academics domain...... (not only this sch)
yr gal had done very well, i sense her results consistency
have faith that she will do well again this coming PSLE….

加油 !!! , look forward hearing good news fr u after PSLE

Thank you Augmum ! My daughter just jokingly told me yesterday that if she gets very very good PSLE results, she will be interviewing the various top school personnel instead.... asking them \"How can your school contribute to my future and why should I go to your school???\" For those who don't give satisfactory answers.... they will receive delayed rejection letters. Haha ! Nice dream....

ok.......perhaps u may consider appeal to DHS (like most parents do)
when his agg t-score meets the sch's COP...... 😄
