Morning all ... woo, surprisingly, the traffic to school is good. Hmm, all not students going back to school today? :?

Should be back. Maybe late or early to school.

I'm so angry with the PCF @Tanjong Pagar. The lady told me I cant register my DS cos he is born in Nov 2009 so I have to wait till next year before I can register him. To me, it is fair enough. But when I ask so when can I register him, she mentioned wait till he turns 3 (that is in Nov 2012) cos they do not do pre-registration. Is this how PCF works? I have to wait till his actual bday before I can register him?? It is so weird - I believe if I wait till Nov next year to register, I do not think there is going to be any seats left for him. Anyway, I wrote a \"complaint\" email to PCF HQ(they are the one who forward the email to the centre) about this incident. I mentioned to them if a parent is not so educated, the lady will not be helping much at all. In the end, the poor child might not be able to get into the school if this is the only choice they have. The person picking up the call should be trained to give more information to the parents. Hiaz, lousy service!!

I was asking if my child is born on 31 Dec 2009, does it mean I have to wait till then to register him? :stompfeet:

Anyway, I will not considered this PCF centre anymore. Soooo mad!!!!

Dear Pigrabbit, if I remember correctly, PCF registration is usually carried out somewhere in late April to May before the June school holidays. My youngest is also a 2009 boy; Sept 2009

Haha...I can understand your anger...I can leave several message with the caller for my DD2 (also in PCF K2 now) teacher or the Principal to return call but it will never be until I have to show up personally at my DD2's classroom doorstep!

                  Dear Champion,

Thanks for reading my \"angry\" post. 🙂 I see, I believe this is so too. There must be some kind of registration date. If she wasn't sure of the date, she can inform the parent to check again maybe around certain months again. But their service sucks big time.

Hahaha, really har? Can you imagine if the parent is busy, how he or she can appear at their doorstep? They think they can \"bully\" us parents. Soo unprofessional. I thought their service and standards should have improved over these years since there are so many private CC and kindergartens popping up. PCF is not a profitable organisation issit? :scratchhead:

Btw, thanks for lending an listening ear to me.

didnt know PCF works this way…

my niece whose bday falls on 26 dec 2007 was allowed to register but was put into the playgrp instead of nursery one (in 2010)… cos of her age…

my sil was pissed off… asking hw can she catch up if she (her DD) is nt place together with peers of the same yr… the teacher answered by saying, if along the way, she shows readiness, she can be grp together with N1s again…

no choice but to place her in playgrp but she cried big time… my DD was in N1 & she wanted to be together with DD… so bo pian, to curb her screaming & endless crying & refusal to coporate… she was then place in N1… thought that wld be the end

NO wor… she still cry big time… so my sil pull her out & only re register her after jun again… so during the half yr she was nt in sch… she saw hw my DD wear the uniform, do her sch work, sing & dance, she rekindle her interest… so since jun, she has no problem le…

fast forward… both of them gg to K1 next yr…

strange, I thot kindy would place child based on yr born and not exact age.

I remember I saw a banner advert. parents to reg. their xxxx born child for N2, etc…

you are not the first to complain about the promptness of response from PCF.

my fren had a hard time to meet up with her DS’s teacher.
