Thanks snowz for the information provided. Wonder how this will incorporate into part of the CA mark.

Red flag for me to better look through his bag and do some reading/catching up today.

Zhu Ma, nay.... no insiders information. But yes, she did comment my son to be very good at asking question. Only problem is while she is busy explaining, he is also busy talking. Once she finished explaining and there the questions pop up.

Does your child need to sit for entrance test before being admitted to Robotics? I did ask ds to join in but he is not interested. He wants to join violin which I am okay at first until I see that he needs to sit for ABRSM exams. Literally means if he takes up, he will be sitting for two ABRSM exam per year. One for piano & one for violin which I say no as I think it can create too much stress.

Join chess last year but he found that the teacher just leave the P1 to play on their own. He calls it quit because he feels that he don't learn anything.

So, this year he has no eca and by next year don't know what he wants to take up. I feel should at least take up one eca.
haha.... the same comment i heard whenever i meet ds' teachers would be tat he talked too much. this comment i've heard since P1 till now.

for robotics, he joined from p3 onwards. he din tell me got to take test or anything. then recently cos h1n1 so no cca. hence not much things he had learnt yet. and yes, school suggest each p3 child have 1 cca. n they dun encourage to take more than 1 also,.

Just got a consent form for my P3 DD, the school is organising a few swimming lesson in Nov at Jurong East Swimming complex. I believe the student can sign up with the instructor after that few session. Dont think this is one of the CCA.

My son just enrolled P1. I am looking for a good student care center around the school. Any recommendation? :? Thanks.

Lakeside family centre at BLK 302 is good one. The teachers there will guide students to do homework. we were quite happy with it as well.
