For parents who are interested in putting their kids in Busy Bee, do noted that for new enrolment, they will begin to take in names for \"waitlist\" from 19th Sep.

Those who have previously given names for \"waitlist\" do noted that it will be reset, so you have to re-submit the names.

Do also note that for those students currently struggling with CL, Busy Bee might not be a good choice as they concentrate more on creative writing than the school exam questions. You might want to try Tian Xia or Berries.
Actually their regular CL/HCL class focus more on paper 2 n oral with a few comp once a while.. My Ds attends both their class.. Indeed u r right. This is not a place for kids poor in CL to do catch up cos stuff taught r more challenging...

        Hey mark,

I will be stretched next year this time...maybe earlier preparing son for PSLE. When I'm done with him, younger one will have SA2 in p2. Hope I will be able to have \"subaru challenge\" stamina by then.
Just curious, pei hwa really doesn't have any tests every 10 weeks ?

You mean after your ds's PSLE, you still got strength for SA2? You must be superwoman. πŸ˜‚

I don't really know whether P1 in PH got tests every 10 weeks. When I don't know, I won't be stress. :boogie:

Thanks for the tip; unfortunately ds loves his Berries's T so much he's not gonna change, no matter what. 🀷

Bro Mark, u never know..Ds used to be in berries till mid of this Yr.. He loves teachers there too but find classes not tat challenging anymore past P2.. Hence I switch both class to Busy Bee.. heng ah... We managed to get a place in BB's CL/ HCL class after long wait list..their regular CL class only runs in rail mall branch n only 2 classes per level! V difficult to get a place..the earlier go in the better lor.. My boy said the oral materials r good and worksheets r ok too..

I think I am the one who will need Brand's Essence.

Hi, sorry for not replying. After my first post (at my friend's place), I was not able to get internet connection until much later.

Hopping in this morning and read about busy bees...I wanted so much for my eldest to attend busy bees 2 years ago but she was (and still is) resilient about attending (tuition or enrichment) classes. Oh well!

Yes, busy bees lessons are tough but enriching. It is not for the poor. I have the materials from P2 to P6 and even brought quite abit with me here. I use it to self-coach dd. Berries could not hold up at P3 for her. I did so much of self coaching to supplement her school needs. I thot Kindy level till P1 and maybe P2 was not too bad for Berries. The lessons were lively and fun. Tien Hsia lessons look abit dry (note: mine never attended any lesson there, review was made based on some materials read), but if the child already has interest in the language, he/she should be able to sit still attentively throughout the lessons.

Now, I have the headache to start homeschooling the elder 2 on CL real soon! How I wish there is Berries or anything CL here to off this load from my shoulders. πŸ˜‰

                    :yikes: 13-15 is alot!!

I overheard a enrichment centre teacher commenting that Pei Hwa has one of the toughest CL papers, maybe tat is why they did not ask the kids to do so many of other schools' papers?

Talking about CL enrichment, another popular one is Jiang, which I have no idea how it fares among the students/parents.

If you look at their 2012 schedule, you will discover that their creative writing classes is a lot more popular than the normal class. So there are parents that put their kids in Busy Bee for writing and regular CL elsewhere.
