I took today's LC PSLE. I personally think that it is Option (3) as the question stated \"........主要......\". Although the last sentence that the principal said is \"我在这里要感谢那些帮忙音乐会...的人\", but the whole talk is about the principal talking about an incident of the flooding in the school.

Most of my classmates answer (3) as in beginning of the passage the principal states the sole purpose of the speech[To thank for the performance]

BTW, she said she chosed option (2).
