also was told that black beans help in darkening of gray hair....... any1 has constantly tried it out b4...wonder does it really work??

Oh is it? Haven't tried it, but will definitely do so now that you say. πŸ˜‰

oh....i read it from the chinese TCM books and also heard from one of radio programme
abt how to achieve dark healthy hair.....
they recommended black beans boiled with \"he shou wu\" (δ½•ι¦–δΉŒ) a few pieces will do.......
basically black beans are high in antioxidants and vit E......
its natural anti-aging medicinal properties helps rejuvenate skin and hair .......

Then better not eat green beans, or the hair will turn green.. πŸ˜‚

          wormy:
so red bean for \"ang-mo\" haircolor
and soy bean for \"Blonde\" :rotflmao:
haha.....it dun works this way lah......the color of beans determines the color of hair..... πŸ˜‰
liddat, i have been drinking red beans boiled with chicken feet soup since young......
i dun have red brown hair leh.....still black in color ..... :rotflmao:

remove red dates fr my usual recipe as my gal feels \"heaty\" recently.

Yes, he shou wu is bitter.
The addition of black beans and some red dates helps to sweeten the soup.
So wanna to try it out ? πŸ˜‰
