Didn't expect IJ TP to be so 'ON'...if you know what I mean. When her form teacher told me there is no such thing as honeymoon for P1, I was really taken aback. Now that she is in primary school, I'll have to remind myself I have to plan schedule for 2 kids instead of just 1.

hi P3 parents, has any of yr dd’s received the topics for SA2 exams? My dd has not received the info and exams are drawing near. I’d like to know if Area & Perimeter will be covered in SA2, as dd says she has not been taught this topic yet, but this topic is in P3 assessment books.

also, would like to check if the weightage for final results for P3 is 30% from SA1 & 70% from SA2?

Thanks for taking the trouble. Ya agree it doesn’t look like it’s honeymoon period at all. Dd’s kindie only scratches the surface so lots of prep work has to come from me. With a bz work schedule, really don’t know how I m gonna do it next yr.

Yes that's the respective weightages.

Why don't you email her teacher to ask her about Area and Perimeter? The exams have been pushed forward this year, and what with the election holidays, many teachers are behind schedule.

Just to let you mummies be aware that the school has planned a nice children's day programme for the girls so tell your dds they can look forward to some good fun on that day. The Parents Volunteers group are working hard to make this day really special for the girls. The girls in IJ are so blest .


So don't get so hung up over the exams. Cheer up all.
