        Thanks.

          Thanks.
All the child has to go through the foundation practice books (a set of formulars on addition/substration), then they will go to grade/level, followed by multiplication/division,etc. The progress is based on child's ability & interest, also how frequent they practice. i.e. children who are attending cma twice a week sure progress faster than children who only go once a week. so although different children attending the same timing class, they have their own goal to follow. not one size to fit all type.

My daughter is a bit slow type, so I only let her attend once a week class. she is in the middle of the fundation right now, so it is still early to tell the amazing result like what the boy is doing on TV (the boy is attending twice a week class for more than a year). but at least now she can do mental sum/substration of 3 two digit no. which is a great improvement compare with last time counting her fingers and toes to do 1 digit sum.

just my 0.02. hope it helps.

Hahaha... I guess parents have to be mindful not to compare the results of other kids... Cos some are more motivated than others to pick up the skill.

I'll be happy that my son can pick up the right maths concepts ... I think right now he is a bit confused becos I teach him using my method and sometimes my MIL will coach him her way... So ended up, he got mixed up :?:

Can anyone share if the course in CMA is conducted in English or Chinese?

How much is per term fee and what is the duration of each lesson?

I call up another school in Crestar, course are conducted in Chinese… Anyone know if this school is good?

Also any different in teaching method between CMA and Crestar?

i think the fees for CMA is abt $220 per term (10 lessons), once a week. For twice a week is $160 for 10 lessons.

I heard that they are going to increase school fees by end of the year.

That's actually pretty competitive compared to other services such as Kumon.

My son has started the abacus class with CMA.

By the way the fee has increased for newer intake, starting from 01 Sept

Twice per week (up to 10 lessons) is @ $220
Once per week (up to 10 lessons) is @ $280

If you are recommended by someone, you get 8% discount for one term.

If anyone wish to go thru recommendation can quote my Son's name and school branch:

                        Elijah Lau Cheng Yong
                        Holland CMA centre

                        😄
