      DS also enjoys and the usborne young reading books. Indeed very interesting for kids who can read independently but not keen to move on to chapter books yet. After reading usborne young reading level 2 and 3 DS is more willing to read chapter books. The books can be found in mph.

            Borrowed some new books from NLB recently. These are re-telling of age old fairy tales from the villain’s viewpoint. it’s not a new thing but this version’s easy to read to your kids and quite fun really.

            Trust me, Jack’s beanstalk stinks! : the story of Jack and the beanstalk as told by the giant / by Eric Braun ; illustrated by Cristian Bernardini.
            -> Jack & the beanstalk story as seen from the Giant’s viewpoint.

            Seriously, Cinderella is so annoying! : the story of Cinderella as told by the wicked stepmother / by Trisha Speed Shaskan ; illustrated by Gerald Guerlais.
            -> Cinderella’s story from her stepmum’s viewpoint.

            i think there are some more, but can’t quite recall. Sorry.

                    well, if you are lazy to plough and know titles available, can always reserve. Cost is $1.55 per reservation. I do that if the books are not available in the library close to me. These days, transport will cost me more than the reservation charge.

                        Suggest to search - use browse by series and look for series one for a start. Otherwise you will be looking for ages 😉
