        Hi All,

Did your child bring home the UNSW ICAS test report yesterday? I received the english report but not math.

I think the report is rather comprehensive. It identifies the areas where the child needs improvement in. Quite insightful 🙂
Will this UNSW ICAS test be done yearly? I did not sign up my DS this year. Judging from your comments, it is worthwhile to run the test as it provides a good comprehensive report.

I would really love to put him in BASC in RMPS. I do hope that the school did plan sufficient places to cater to the majority of us. :xedfingers: 🙏

Well…this is an old topic, but who here thinks the top ;pupil in RMPS will come from 6M? There is a pretty good chance of Avril Wong being the top pupil. Her Prelim scores: Eng: 92.8 Math: A* Chi: ._. can’t remember (High A) Science: 91

I am from 6M too, and I want to beat Avril in English(90.5).

Yes, the school will be having a BASC! 🕺

However, not sure when it will commence operation. 🤷

It is good for you to aim to 'beat' Avril but being an all rounder is just as good. You can see from a newspaper article recently that although grades are important, there is also STRONG emphasis on character building as well. What is the point of being the TOP student when one fails in behaving properly - failing to give respect to elders, your peers and outsiders. Do you really want to be associated with someone that has low EQ?

Work hard, play hard and enjoy your days at RMPS. When you move on the secondary school, it will be a different ball game altogether.

Sorry my mistake...i thought you have confirmed that there is BASC. Anyone can help check the following?

                    - places available
                    - selection citeria ( if the no of takers > places available)
                    - costs of BASC
                    - minders in charge ( r they teachers)
                    - will they be running some 'tuition' sessions - optional but can sign up for them at additional costs...etc

Maybe i am asking too many questions

Do hope that principal is reading this and maybe can let the anxious parents know 😂

Would it be ready for intake in 2013? Would 2013 be single session?
