      I was reading the chinese newspaper and came across this letter wrote in by a parent about the P6B chinese textbook.

        Sorry this reply seem rather late.


        I feel the ‘untruths’ in the passage are quite acceptable, as the main focus of the passage is to introduce how the Chinese words and phrases should be used in the proper context, and how these ‘water activities’ related words could be stringed together. Basically, the Chinese textbook isn’t a factual compendium, although some information can be misleading, but I would accept factual errors in a language textbook, but errors in the use of the language it is intended to teach is definitely NOT acceptable.
