I gave way to a Porsche this morning, and the driver wave back at me. Good to be appreciated.

Ksi included me in baby game. It made me feel included. It must have been a lotta effort to run that game.


When I walk out the gate, my new neighbours smile kindly at me and wave. That always makes my day.

The neighbours next door invite my son to play with their kids every Sunday. That makes me happy because my son is so full of joy on that day.

Tankee started this thread which resonates with positivity… and allows people to share joys. Makes me glad too.

This forum is a positive and friendly place to hang out in… that comes with nice bread recipes. Its creation was a random act that continued and made a difference to the lives of millions. Well done Chief.

RRmummy kindly told me about my KSP Community Service award and I floated for 2 days. I would never have found that page on my own 'cos I have not managed to find it AGAIN!!

Yesterday went to visit my parents and got to hear so many good news amidst my father's sickness and home-bound situation!


Firstly, due to the many times my father went in and out of hospital from hard-to-manage diabetes, 2 or 3 nurses have been visiting my father at home on a monthly basis. These nurses are volunteers under the social welfare scheme (I think) and they visit to see what they can do to help my family to take care of my father at home.
Yesterday, at their 3rd visit, they brought a large box of adult diapers, two boxes of blood sugar measurement test kits (retails at SGD70+ each!), medication and a carton of dietary supplement milk - FREE for my father! Wow! I think the gifts are worth about SGD200 already, not to mention the 3 nurses time and effort! Hurray! :grphug:

Secondly, there was a letter informing us that our application for the Incomeshield claim has been approved due to my father's disability and we will start to receive SGD300 per month which will go towards covering the maid's salary. Double-Hurray!

Thirdly, I heard that the Electricity and Utilities bills are going to be cut! Triple Hurray! :rahrah:

Yeah, doing charity work makes you feel good.


I do visit disabled homes sometimes, help out there. It makes you feel you have done something, contributed something in life. It makes you happy.

It does make you feel the difference, doesn't it?

the first thing ds said to me this morning when he woke up next to me was to thank me for looking after him the whole night (high fever so got to wipe him and give medicine) and he loves me. really cheer me up. :love:
