A little advise to all parents whose kids taking HMT.
Over this weekend, spend more times in science rather than HMT. Getting a merit is good enough.
Best of luck to all P6 students -
Miss Bean:
Wonderful mum !!!Hi All
Yes, supporting your child can be done in many ways.
Me.. took leave so that to ensure she has food to eat when she comes home.
To cheer for her if she has done well in the paper or to console and encourage her to move on with the next day paper.
My girl seems like quite good mood today...Yeah

My child’s teachers are also very on, still in school having lessons now. Really worried for her health. Yes, mine called up saying the paper was easy too.

My DD'd friend say \"deceitful\".What is the answer for deceiving in editing.
No one in my DS's class knows it -
Ms tay:
Make a cup of american ginseng with boiling water and let them drink when they are home. A whole day out can be very \"heaty\" for the body, esp in such weather. Drinking this can reduce \"heatiness\" and also provide them some perk-up.ppnqq:

I have been doing lots of herbal tea and soup over the last few days / weeks to keep DS in good health. -
It seems that this year’s "king maker" is going to be the Paper 2 rather than Paper 1. Usually its the other way round as most people will get roughly the same scores for Paper 2 and the greatest variance will be in Paper 1. But since Paper 1, q3 is such an easy question (the picture composition is also easy but a little difficult to develop conflict in that question), Paper 2 will make the difference.
Some of the tough questions mentioned by others are really tricky. The distractors used are all very close.
Questions like permutating deceiving to deceptive; transforming past perfect in the S&T to simple past; collocating pain with pronounced, etc… are all rather tricky… SEAB seems to be upping the ante… -

Correct word should be \"deceitful\". Used to describe a person \"a deceitful person\".

Deceptive refers to tend to deceive. Used in the form of \"It is deceptive\".
Please treat this as a learning experience (I've shared with DS without asking for his answer) but not to hammer kid on losing that 1 mark. -
what is the answer for the S&T question on reported speech… X asked his brother if he had bought the gift for Y.

My son wrote 'deceitful'. But come to think of it, why deceptive cannot? Deceptive is having the power to cheat, deceitful is like 'dishonest' So maybe 'deceitful' is a better adjective
I thought deceptive is the adj.Paddy Field:
In editing, there is this sentence
\"Deceiving sellers would replace the chickens with stray cats.\"
They are supposed to change the word form of 'deceiving'. He put as 'deceivious' but I think it should be 'deceitful'.
