Hi everyone, I took the PSLE exam in 2009, and for my year the Maths paper was challenging. My senior in in Sec 3 who took his PSLE in 2008 said the Maths paper was easy. I know the 2010 paper was easy. Hence, I foresee a trend.

      2008 Maths- Easy
      2009 Maths- Hard
      2010 Maths- Easy
      2011 Maths- Hard??

Just an idea of what to expect.
Just hope that the non-routine questions will not be too difficult 😓

        Hi Verysuperkiasu,
No problems...it's quite straight forward to change batteries....Just unscrew the back panel, change the battery & put the back panel on and screw the screws back. 😂
Yes, I did it. I managed to change it about five mins ago. Kind of wierd to unscrew and see all the wires inside. Was afraid something inside drop out and then cannot use how?...so late where to get another one? :scared:

But thankfully, after changing batteries, can work. Hope tmr still can work. I'm quite paranoid. Thanks, Tinkerbelle!

Last time when we studied also only use one calculator what. Never bring extra one.

True, but then last time in PSLE - don't need to use calculator. Also no T-score....okie, I better not let the list go on. 😜

And last time our parents not so ks like us, and no need for them to be ks too since life is not so complex then :rotflmao:

Yeah.. I think so that 2011 PSLE Math will be tough.

Already warned my son to be mentally prepared liao so he will not be thrown offguard. I told him to keep calm and try his best to solve. At least get some method marks also good.

If we bring 2 calculators but only one has the approved sticker the other doesn’t , will the without sticker be accepted in case ( God Forbade) the first one goes kaput?

Ask your kid to bring calculator to sch admin office to get that approved before bringing in. Not allowed to bring in non-approved ones - don't take risk.

I do not think the school will let you bring 2 calculators for the examination. I have called my ds school, they have stand by calculators in case any student calculator is ‘down’. They also do not want the student to fail just because of the calculator.

I dont think date is needed as that is an informal email and date is only required in formal letter and do not need to write ‘Re:’ . I’m not confirmed , this is based on what my teacher told me . She said ‘Re:’ is no longer needed as the format has changed .
