        noob:
What about question on rectangle and square in paper 1, anyone has the ans?

        MummySTay:
Any idea what the question is about?
Accordingly to DD2, question was something like this:
Two wires of the same length are used to make a rectangle and a square. The length of the rectangle is 5 times that of its breadth. The length of the square is 9.2 cm shorter than the length of the rectangle. What is the length of the rectangle.

            AJAJ:

            Q13)

alan and ben ran around a 400m track for a competition. alan''s speed was 190m/min. ben's speed was 25m/min less than alan's.
how many complete rounds had alan travelled before he had travelled 300m more than ben?

            is the answer 5, 5.7 or 6
i put 6 but the rest of my classmates put 5

shuld be 5 because they asked for complete rounds, and only 5 rounds was completed, the sixth round was 3/4 completed. 😄

Aiya. My DS very careless. He put 5.7. Because, he interpret it wrongly. He did not round down.

Any of your kids teachers or tutors spot Science questions? Can share which are the topics and type of questions are a \"die die\" must revise one? Too many to cover, not sure where to start off and which part to revise more. 😓 TIA.

                  Pen88n:

432 / 4 = 108, so it means the number is the last number in the 108th row.
108th row is an even row. Last number in the even row ends in Column A.

NOO.. my ds thought even ends in D

My DS ends in column D. So wrong.

DD2 just came back and told me that she finished:

Paper 1: About 25 min (time allocated was 50 min)
                    Paper 2: About 35 min (time allocated was 1 h 40 min)

                    Really makes me :yikes:

Ya, I pretty worried too. DS finished his paper 1 in 35mins and paper 2 in 1 hour. He said loads of time, and I worried that he \"chiong\" too fast and missed something. He was such that if he didn't get his first answer correct, he would never be able to spot his own mistake!
