There are some mixed reviews about this year's paper. I have parents calling me telling me that the paper is very difficult and teachers / Principals have to console the students.

School : Maris Stella
P5 SA1 59, CA2 69, SA2 : 80
Prelim 2011 : 80+%

This year's paper tests alot of Math concepts. If the child is very strong in Math concepts and able to identify the correct concepts/method quickly, then the child will find it very easy. -

The 2 students you mentioned, did they find the paper hard or easy as both are from good schools. My daughter’s from a neighborhood school and she’s always been weak in Maths but have been encouraging her and trying to build up her confidence. -

Hi both the boys find it easy. U can click on the links to read their comments. However, I also have a girl from St Nich. She has been quite good in Math and most of the time, she can solve higher order thinking questions. Unfortunately, she finds the paper very difficult.
Well, the children have given their best. Stay focus - concentrate on the next two papers.. -

Should be cuz i also had the same ans and s did some of my classmates :3 I think the chair question was kinda hard and i wasted like 5 mins there but i came up with the ans 351
