They planned to go and drink both Koi and Gong Cha and watch Johnny English. :imcool: ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

Looks like many students in this cohort will celebrate with Johnny English/MrBean/Rowan Atkinson ! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Maybe I too should plan for it since DS too is not taking HMT and hence will be free on wed. ๐Ÿ˜„

DS from mainstream neighbourhood school. No one cried. Everyone was OK, not smiling broadly but still OK.
Most i saw joking happily with each other as they walked out. I was reading KSP at that time and expected some glum faces. Hope it's ok!

Sorry huh but wat do you feed your DS that he says both papers are easy?
He has super brains!
Fyi, I'm probably one of those parents who is crying my lungs out because my very very dear son didn't come out of exam hall smiling!

That was what I told my DS, who is one of the lucky ones who find the Math papers relatively easy, as compared to his school prelims exam, but definitely not to the extent of 'easy like hell' lah (he does not have a super brain lah)! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Jia-you.. Jia-you!!! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

Hashroop - your DS never smile doesn't mean he won't do well. You must encourage him. 50% journey only.

Firefly dear fren - half the journey is over.... May luck continue to be on your DS side next week! :rahrah: :rahrah:

Ms tay:
What I meant was that my ds strength is mathematics, so I was happy upon seeing him so confident, so I decided to just share my good news with you people. Please be less sensitive. No criticism pls ._.

Congratulations! If I were u, I would b proud of my child as well. My DD might not get full marks, but I m just as proud to know that she has done relatively well in the Math exam, based on the answers given. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Does anyone know the answer for English PSLE Q)67?

sentence:The witnesses suddenly disappeared. The detective was puzzled.
What puzzled the detective_____________________________________.
is it all right to put- What puzzled the detective was the fact that the witnesses suddenly disappeared.
๐Ÿ™ that it is correct!

To me it sounds correct. There can be more than one correct answer.

at first i wrote that but changed to What puzzled the detective was the witnesses' sudden disappearance.
To me both are correct.
And if you put What puzzled the decective was that the witnesses disappeared suddenly sounds correct too.

ALgebra:
2009 MA PSLE was hardest. 2010 MA PSLE was easiest. 2011 MA PSLE in the middle.

These are the answers for the 2011 MA PSLE Paper 2 from top students in my school [including me] (97 - 100 marks) Method used for most of the questions was ALGEBRA.

20,17,72,70,125,20%,22,42,357*(NOT 351!!!!),5/9,180m2,154,26,13,8,5,56,119,199,17,$4576,$150

*Asking for chairs at the end check-> 357 รท 7(chairs in each row after rearrange) = exactly 51 rows at last
They said there was extra 12 rows so in the beginning, there were (51-12=39) rows of 9. 351 is the no. of chairs in the beginning!
๐Ÿ˜„ Hi Algebra,
Roughly what are the questions leading to your answers 42, 13, 8 and 5?

Qns. to note.

- MA Paper 1 Q14. option (1)
- MA Paper 1 Q30. 4.8

Hey!I'm a student and also taking PSLE this year! ๐Ÿ˜„ I think the paper was kinda so-so but some questions i had to rack my brains :gloomy:
My ans kinda varied but here they are: 20,17,72(bar graph),70,125,20%,22,42,351,5/9,180m2,154,26,13,8,5,56,119,199,17,4576,$150 All the best for your girl! Left two or three more papers to go so JYJY! :rahrah:
Hi, any idea what the ans:351 question is about?
A school hall arranges some chairs in 9.

In a concert, Mr Tan brought in 6 more chairs and arranges them in rows of 7. This time, he gets 12 more rows.
How many chairs were there in the concert?
