With regards to the black tiles question, if each tile is shaded 5/9, Then when repeated, the fraction will remain the same. Thus, regardless of the number of tiles, the fraction of black tiles in total remains as 5/9. Therefore the area of the black tiles in total will be the total floor area multiplied by 5/9

With the overall opinion, following could be the possibilty for T Score mapping

English - Mean score should be around 71 and with a Standard Deviation of around 12 giving that most of the 2/3 of the cohort will be between 59 - 83

If the child had scored 88 then the T Score will then be 50+10x(88 - 71) / 12 = 64.16667 ,. Approximation might happen for 5 decimal places.

A perfect score then translate to 74.16667

Maths - Mean score could be around 76 and Estimated Standard Deviation of 12 giving that most of the 2/3 of the cohort will be around 64 - 88.

If anyone scored 98 then the T Score would then T Score could be

          50+10x(98 - 76) / 12 = 68.33334

Perfect Score will then tanslate to 70.00

If the same trend continues in next 2 papers we can expect the top score to be in the range of 280 - 285 - One more repetition of 2010. !!!

          Any other opinion ???

It was kinda easy, except that one would need to think for a while. Time consuming-agree. But overall it was easy.

My dd said it is very easy. Paper 1 manage to complete ok. Paper 2 manage to check 3 times and think that she should get all correct. Apparently her Math teacher commented that it is easier than she expected

To parents who's P6 child sat for the PSLE MATHS paper today, how did your child find it? My daughter found Section A & B ok but found Paper 2 difficult. Would like to know especially from parents who's kids are pretty good at Maths how their kids felt ... Hard or easy? Thanks.

For me it is ok but they make the calculations hard hence it is common for us to make careless mistakes πŸ˜‰ 🀷
