      Hi everyone,

Today is the start of 2011 PSLE and though our DD/DS will only be taking PSLE next year, can't help but feel the anxiety of the parents whose kids are taking PSLE this year....wonder how i'll be reacting this time next year : πŸ˜“

Ha, I should be freaking out this time next year 'cos my DS is so relaxed about everything!

Tell me, how do your kids find time to revise their work? Like now, nearing the exams, my DS has so much school homework to catch up with that there is barely time to finish and go to bed on time!!! I keep telling him he's working too slowly but I know from the bottom of my heart, it is really a lot of work. πŸ˜“

Next year is Dragon year, competition will be stiff. The best policy is to start preparation early and learn the Maths concepts well. Looking at the PSLE Maths papers for this year, the concepts are commonly tested. A good foundation in models and heuristics methods will help the primary level students do well in future PSLE maths exams.

You remind me of Prof Trelawney from Harry Potter. πŸ˜‚

Anyway, what is the ur official verdict on the PSLE maths 2011 paper regarding the level of difficulty? Asking this since you started the other thread on prediction...

This year’s PSLE Maths paper is a balanced one with good questions that test students’ overall concepts and ability. A well prepared and diligent student will do well in the PSLE Maths exam.
