      Hi jtoh

No more such things at lobby already, they " cleaned up" already. Also locked up the side gate which is actually a very convenient way of getting out to the eateries so now the whole estate got no more side gate to use.

        Hi happy to be mum

How long have yours been with yr household? if you are working mum, I think still can bear since u don’t see her most time and work all done when u get home. You don’t see most things that they do whole day as long as the work gets done. I agree that maids last time are more resilient and got better work ethics…I just hope she does not get influenced by all those very "eng" maids downstairs.

          Hi jav

Maybe you need to give her some more time to adjust. Every hse hold is different. My maid also ex sin 4 Yrs when she first joined us. She has the basic cooking and cutting skills but my dh still teach her in great detail. I think it still took us 6 mths with regular feedback to iron out the kinks. Once done, she is very independent and run the household auto pilot. Even till today, we still feedback to her if food too saltish, overcooked etc. If her attitude is positive and willing to change, I will still keep her for a while and see if got improvement.

Rather unfair that the entire estate has to suffer the consequences of an itinerant few. Good that the lobby has been cleaned up. Must say the maids are rather bold.

I am a full time working mum so when mil feedback, I kinda pacify her & tell mil be patience as there are other maids a lot more worse. However, as this week I am having pretty bad flu & mc, staying at home & got to face her I also cannot tahan. She just has her own thinking & wrong assumption even in actual fact is white color but her mind process it as black so she just think its black. Its really frustrating & she just does things her own way. In the outlook she looks submissive & soft but she is actually quite stubborn & think highly of herself. Every mistake she does, when you pointed to her, she would say yes & sorry but then she keeps repeating it again.

Just did a phone interview with another maid from The same agent, already can detect that she is not honest through the phone! Another one Philipino I am quite ok but clash on schedule as she has to go back to Philipine in Dec for holiday. Headache !

                  peapot:
Why employers in S'pore must suffer so much? First, gove't policies doesn't favor us. Next, maid agencies got together to fleece us. Then maids prefer to go Hk and Taiwan. Supply goes down. Now Indonesia decides to exclude S'pore in supplying maids.

Don't worry lah. Alternative sources will be considered like Nepal, Cambodia & Vietnam.....definitely not from Thailand & China otherwise your hubby will sure run away with them.

It'll depend on bilateral relations between the countries and our gov investment in them.

                  😂
