      Hi! Mummy Plum-cake,

      So happy to \"catch\" you on-line! πŸ˜„

I have the on-sponge one; just bought recently πŸ˜‰ ...am trying to go thru it everyday so able to absorb more techniques in the book and teach DD1 πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“

The 2nd book - are you using it? How do you feel about the content?

I've also bought several assessment based on recommendations too. As for Math, I've got to be more careful when getting for P2...very frustrating :stupid: when the assessment books don't have sections her teacher has taught. Any good recommendations for heuristics ?? Thanks.
        Hi Janet,
Its true, I bought 2 books under the name of \"heuristic\"
        1. Process skills I-Excel Heuristic and Model Approach.
        2. Use of Heuristics in Problem solving by Andrew,Joanne Er.

I found both of them are good, manage to do the Fan Math and some of the pages from 2nd one. I didn have a chance of buying other books under Heuristics....

Since there is time before the 20% discount, can you kindly advise if Process Skills I-Excel is recommended ? I don't know what kind of heuristics will be taught at P2...only know the number of legs kind of question.

My son will be in P6 and spending more time in school with his suppl...as P2 will have SA2 streaming, I figure I will have more time 1-to-1 with my daughter. Your recommendations will be of great help. Thanks in advance.

                    HI Plum-cake/Champion,

I try to stick to authors like Andrew Er, Simon Eio and certain publishers like Marshall Cavendish. Any review about this new title ?

                      Hi Janet,
My View .....the explenation in the fan-math for the model part is very clear. its a thin book you can finish it. For most of the Qs there are model-bar-stickers to paste. If you are looking for a bit more challenging, more Qs than this book then go for Andrew Er's one.

Thanks Plum-cake. I will make a mental note to get the Li Fanglan heuristic & models.
