            Gravitational force question (clarifying):

We know that weight is determined by the amount of gravitational force acting on the mass of the object. Let’s put it like this: W=GF^M

We know that the mass is constant (if you’re on an aeroplane measuring your mass, it will be the same as the mass on Earth) and weight is constant (hook an object on a spring balance and lift it up and down; weight is constant), so the amount of gravitational force must also be constant, thus the answer is (4), if my memory does not fail me.

I just want to clarify with all of you, is it true that there is more weightage on English and Chinese? My friends and their mummies say that English+Chinese=200%, Science is 50% and Maths is 50% as well...

Oh yes, I want to ask about question: 'Which set-up should he use as a control'
              What did you put?

We were informed by the sch during briefing that all subjects have equal weightage. 😂

              T-Score of each subject = 50+10*((raw score - mean) / standard deviation

If you look at the formula for computing T-score for each subject, you will realise that every subject has an equal weightage, regardless of the total 100 or 200 for the subject.

However, having said this, there are some very distinct factors that will affect the T-score of a particular subject:
              1. For easy paper, T-score tend to be lower as cohort perform better thus high mean and wider standard deviation
              2. For Chinese, past year statistics show 13% A* and 69% A (from previous post from forummer). Compared with other subjects with a 40+% A and A*, this is obviously much higher. As such, it indicates a possible high mean and standard deviation within the \"A\" range of this subject
              3. For a difficult paper, T-score for the students who excel in this paper will be very high as low mean and smaller standard deviation will push up the gap

Hope this helps to clarify some doubts about T-score.

                For?
Booklet A= is the string question (4), then got bar magnet attached to two of them.
Booklet B= is the spring question. Um... something like spring A and B which can stretch longer? 🙂

Hi! I'm a kid from P6, and I'm new here. My answer was that in a fish, the blood is pumped straight to the rest of the body from the respiratory organ (gills) but in a human, the blood is pumped back to the heart from the respiratory organ (lungs) before being pumped to the rest of the body. Hope I'm right!

P.S. Aiming for top PSLE Malay student here :xedfingers:

Wish you good luck Omega :rahrah:

                        :thankyou:

The stress of PSLE... I'm worried as all the papers so far are pretty comfortable for me... just hoping for HMT.
